Since my last blog the Schools have now returned and their new term is well underway.  So, too, is the Wilderness Centre’s bookings diary!

On Saturday 19 September we held our formal Open Day which took the form of a Family Fun Day and barbeque.  The day was fabulous, attended by some 300 or so visitors!  A few photographs below depict, I hope, the fun that was had by all.  If you have any photographs that you wish to share, please do send them to us.  It transpires that we were so busy on the day we didn’t an opportunity to capture the activities on camera!

I have previously blogged about our first school group who attended the Centre at the end of June. I attach below some belated photographs of their Saxon Day. Education and fun all rolled into one.

All of us here at the Centre extend a huge thanks to all those who made our Open Day such a tremendous success.  It would not have happened without the fantastic support that we have received from the media (radio and press), community and visitors alike.  We have been truly overwhelmed!

Our bookings diary is now looking healthy, but there is still plenty of room for YOU!

See you soon!
