Following on from the fabulous attendance at last year’s Open Day, we opened our doors once again to the community on Sunday 17 April. Yet again we were lucky with the weather and the day was attended by several hundred local people. It really was so lovely to see visitors from all walks of life celebrating all that the Wilderness Centre has to offer. For many it was their first visit.
It is some time since my last blog but rest assured I have not been sitting on my laurels. The news that the Wilderness Centre has re-opened has spread! We have been inundated with enquiries and bookings are coming in fast and furious. This academic year is all but full with school bookings; just the odd date here and there remaining available. The next academic year is starting to book up too. The response has been fantastic and all of us here at the Wilderness Centre thank you for your support.
Since my last blog the Schools have now returned and their new term is well underway. So, too, is the Wilderness Centre’s bookings diary!

A few photographs below depict, I hope, the fun that was had by all. If you have any photographs that you wish to share, please do send them to us. It transpires that we were so busy on the day we didn’t an opportunity to capture ...
Since my last blog there has been a hive of activity here at the Wilderness Centre!

Welcome to my Blog! My intention is to keep you up-to-date with the goings on at the Wilderness Centre; feel free to drop me a line :-)
